Legendary Parisian Bistro to open in Wedgewood Houston

James Beard award-winning restauranteurs Keith McNally and Stephen Starr are bringing the legendary Parisian bistro, Pastis to Nashville. Starr and McNally's partnership blends a passion for show business, a love of music, and of course, an obsession with French restaurants. 

Pastis' Nashville location will be adjacent to Soho House within May Hosiery Mills - the adaptive reuse of the oldest sock mill in the South, dating back to 1897. The restaurant space will be renovated to feature the signature Pastis décor, complete with exposed brick, original architectural details, and factory-style windows overlooking the neighborhood. 

Starr owns over 40 esteemed restaurants, including Le Diplomate in Washington, D.C., and Le Coucou in New York. His trend-setting success has earned him multiple honors, including Restauranteur of the Year from both Bon Appétit and Zagat and Outstanding Restauranteur from the James Beard Foundation. McNally has earned the James Beard Outstanding Restauranteur award on more than once occasion for his French bistros which have helped transform New York (Odeon in Tribeca, Balthazar in SoHo, and the first Pastis in the Meatpacking District). Now in New York, Miami, Washington, D.C., and soon Nashville - the two have proved that the magic of Pastis extends beyond New York City.
