Six local artists takeover Chestnut Street

Artville Walls features the work of six Nashville-based artists. The murals, which line Wedgewood Houston's Chestnut Street, include a diverse representation of artists and media from spray paint to 3D construction.

Concepted and curated by Also Dept., Artville Walls includes the works of Brian Wooden, Maggie Sanger, Meg Pie, XPayne, Violet Hill, Joe Geis, and Jeremiah Britton who painted their murals in the days leading up to Artville. The works will remain on display up for the foreseeable future.

Wedgewood Houston’s prime location amidst some of Nashville’s favorite galleries made it the ideal neighborhood for the inaugural year of the festival. Artville’s founders and the developers in the neighborhood are deeply committed to supporting and uplifting the creative community in Nashville and investing in public art for the community.

Artville is a weekend-long visual arts festival featuring public art installations, art collecting, and immersive experiences highlighting the creative culture of Nashville.
