The Truth Reveals 2026 Lineup
The Truth, Live Nation and AJ Capital Partners' new 4,400 capacity live music venue under construction in the Wedgewood Houston area of Nashville, is set to open this fall and bring a lineup of musicians, including Freya Skye, Sting, Hardy, Beck, and Glorilla, just to name a few.
The venue-opening headliner has yet to be announced, but Live Nation has just released the initial musical lineup that begins on Oct. 5, 2026.
We asked Live Nation Southeast President Grant Lyman what the goal was for the venue's initial bookings. He said the team's focus started with a wish list, but was always focused on a cross-genre, cross-generational appeal. "The main goal was trying to deliver a lineup that speaks to everyone," Lyman said. "We want this to be a community venue where no matter what your favorite style of music is, there's going to be something for you to come and enjoy. So we went into it with a focus on diversity."
The range of artists in the venue's initial lineup announcement spans careers from established artists like Sting to newer acts such as Stephen Wilson Jr., who has exploded since the 2023 release of his debut album "Son of Dad." "We have a mix of emerging talent that have never played a stage this big before, as well as some large, established touring acts who historically you probably see in an arena or a larger venue who are looking for an intimate... different experience for their fan base," he added.
Although Live Nation chose to only reveal these first 20 performers, there are more in the works, including a special grand-opening performance being planned that Lyman said will be a "one-of-a-kind" experience. "This is just the first 20 shows," Lyman said. "We have a lot more in the works or confirmed, but not ready to announce. So there's going to be a lot more over the next couple months before we open in October that we'll be able to slowly release."
Live Nation previously estimated $74 million in annual economic activity around the venue, which is expected to create 430 jobs and generate $6 million in state and local tax revenue, according to Oxford Economics. Staff at The Truth will be paid at $20 per hour, the Tennessean previously reported. The Truth will also be part of Live Nation's Green Nation sustainability program that includes zero waste teams working to reduce single-use plastics and promote recycling, composting and food donations.
