Hippo—a new market and café from Present Tense owners Rick Margaritov and Ryan Costanza opens in the neighborhood.

Among aisles of tinned fish and specialty pantry items, Hippo has a collection of natural wines and sakes. Behind the bar, they’re serving matcha, coffee, and espresso martinis on tap.
