Wedgewood Houston is home to the historic May Hosiery Mills, which anchored the neighborhood for the first half of the 20th century. Once the largest sock factory in the south, its hand-finished knit products were worn by Neil Armstrong when he took his first steps on the moon.

Wednesday, January 24th, Dicey's Pizza + Tavern will be hosting a very special pizza and pop-up event in collaboration with Cumberland Transit from 6-9 pm.
Dicey's will be debuting their Mountain Goat pizza alongside their homemade Jogger Juice, and Black Abbey Brewing will bring additional beer specials. DJ Dad's Been Drinkin' will provide live music and the Cumberland Transit team will host giveaways.
For those looking to start the fun even earlier, Jogalope Running will host an evening run starting at Dicey's with 5-mile and 5k options. Of course, you can also choose the 0k option and just eat and drink at Dicey's!
No tickets or registration required - show up, grab a bite, and enjoy the evening.
